Bedroom Silences

Follow through, always follow through.

You hardly ever let me know your problems.

Come on, there’s something you’re not telling me.

There’s a silence in the bedroom.

One that I think is common.

Don’t try to console me because I’m through.

These war games are going to be the death of me.

I can have this conversation until we turn blue

Doesn’t mean I’m going to bend to you.

The only issue here, the only issue there

The only issue that ever comes is you.

Are we ready to move on?

Erase all of those pencil lines

So we can fake our way through another day

Your verbal discouragement has always made me smile.

There’s a silence in the bedroom.

One that I think is common.

Don’t try to console me because I’m through.

These war games are going to be the death of me.

You always take the time

To let me known you’re mine

And you are mistaken

Because I’m no longer taken.

There’s a silence in the bedroom.

One that I think is common.

Don’t try to console me because I’m through.

These war games are going to be the death of me.

There’s a silence in the bedroom.

One that I think is common.

Don’t try to console me because I’m through.

These war games are going to be the death of me.
